Engineer (m/f/d) R&D Testing & Tuning

Join us and be part of something extraordinary! Country/ Region: IT Location: Candiolo, Turin, IT, 10060 About the Team: The resource will reinforce R&D Testing & tuning team for the ridework activities, according to the Motorcycle development strategy for the assigned customers.
What you can look forward to as Engineer (m/f/d) R&D Testing & Tuning: Understand the needs of the customer – try to install a common language and increase the trust in the relationship.
Write internal report of the ride work and share with the project team / write external report, share, discuss and agree with the customer.
Preparation and execution of measurement task: data acquisition ex. 2D Data system, hydraulic test bench, static and dynamic testing machine.
Organize the assembly of the part for the ridework; plan accordingly with Prototype dept. manager the needed resources to support the assembly.
Organize the travel and all needs (transportation, hotel, rental car…) to access at the ride work field.
Calibrate and prepare the vehicle for the ridework, including harness wiring (for CAN bus and analog and digital signal).
Be able to ride and evaluate the vehicle with ZF internal technology and competitor benchmark.
Provide structured evaluation and feedback of the result.
High school diploma or Engineering degree on mechanical technical disciplines (mechanical / aerospace engineering).
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in motorbike / automotive field.
Knowledge of 2D - 3D mechanical drawings.
Mechanical background ( Mechatronic is a plus).
Competence on assembly of finish good.
Good understanding of motorbike geometry, chassis layout, ergonomics and chassis construction.
Available for business trips in Italy and Europe – around 30% of the working time.
Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
German is a plus.
