Energy Specialist for US Operations

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Line Manager in the definition of energy supply contracts and in the procurement of energy sources for the US sites, optimizing supply costs and quality in line with the Group strategy and standard;
Analyze the US energy markets, monitoring and assessing factors and drivers that influence the purchasing process either directly or indirectly;
Support the US sites in the monitoring and achievement of opportunities for economic allowances and benefits in the energy sector for US sites;
Support the US sites in being compliant with local regulatory obligations and laws concerning energy;
Define periodical reports for energy costs and consumptions, providing monthly forecasts for the US sites of the Group;
Support the Line Manager in the definition of opportunities of investments in energy efficiency and decarbonization for all sites, in line with the Group’s sustainability goals, monitoring and reporting the energy savings achieved;
Provide technical support and training about the EMS software for the US sites;
Develop and maintain new reports into EMS for energy monitoring;
Carry out training activities on energy issues to internal and external resources;
Collaborate with the Line Manager in the implementation and management of ISO 50001 certification for the US sites.


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION

Master's Degree in Energy, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering business
Previous experience in similar position in multinational Company (is a plus)
Proficiency in English
Good knowledge of MS Office tools
Availability to travel for business trips and eventually to accept to be relocated on a temporary basis in US
Curious and proactive mindset, focused on improvement
Good Team-player
