Office Office/ Site only Company Siemens Energy Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service Europe & Africa Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As Hands- On Electrical Technician for Service on Small Gas turbines world wide, you will be responsible for the completion and management of maintenance activities of the company’s products through performing and supporting on site activities in partnership with the business, customer, and contractors in line with the site programme.
How You’ll Make an Impact Be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and providing technical support across the full range of Small Gas Turbines Products and Systems including preventive and corrective maintenance.
Produce reports that support the activities undertaken.
Work under own initiative with minimal supervision and provide our customers with the highest level of service possible.
Continuously seek to contribute to the services provided which include remote diagnostic support services and training.
Always aiming to achieve first time fix-solutions leading to reduced breakdown times and lower costs to the customer.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all internal support departments, co-ordinate service activities on customer sites to ensure compliance with rules/requirements Technically demonstrate and explain issues and solutions with customers and end users Feedback to relevant internal departments where issues persist on-site with SGT products and whenever practicable offer recommendations for improving product/documentation/warranty going forward.
Supervising technical staff if needed during service&commissioning of units.
Take full responsibility for Environmental and H&S when on site and ensure control measures are in place in the field, ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and report all near misses and incidents.
What You Bring A proven experience with rotating equipment with Small Gas Turbines Products and Systems.
A flexible attitude to global travel (around 80%of the time) is required, as you may be required to mobilise at short notice and to work on weekends and bank holidays if required including shift work based on project requirements.
Excellent customer focus and influential too, taking charge of teams in different countries – so you’ll be culturally aware as well.
High commitment with our Zero- Harm culture.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office IT systems.
High level of English and Italian.
Ability to perform well with limited supervision and under pressure/time constraints.
