In this role, you will support electrical design for power transformers and collaborate internally with various project teams from concept to final testing.
This role is open to both new graduates and experienced engineers with a strong foundation in electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics.

Electrical Design Engineer I Responsibilities Learn the design, manufacturing, and testing requirements of power transformers Understand and interpret customer specifications and expectations Create prototype designs and manufacturing documents for cores and windings Perform calculations and analysis to verify transformer design accuracy Spend time training and collaborating on the manufacturing shop floor Create material requisitions based on designs and customer specifications Troubleshoot design challenges and oversee projects from concept to testing Address questions from internal teams regarding electrical design for custom projects Balance time effectively between design and project support tasks Assist in software development for design processes Produce detailed design reports and documentation as required Electrical Design Engineer I Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required Solid understanding of electrical engineering, physics, and mathematical concepts is required Strong computer skills, including some CAD & a desire to learn programming is required Ability to work 100% on-site is required On-call availability required (minimal, mostly remote resolutions) J-18808- Ljbffr
