Who are we looking for? Our client is seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to join our Downstream OE & Compliance Division (DSOE&CD).
DSOE&CD is responsible for providing HSE guidance, support and oversight to the entire Downstream Portfolio.
Your primary role will be to assist with planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of safety and environmental measures and initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate and local department HSE requirements and expectations.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science from a recognized and approved program.
An advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Knowledge or training in occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental and/or international standards.
Knowledge of delivering hands-on health, safety and environmental training.
Ability to assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive health and safety programs.
Ability to lead and direct teams and/or committees.
Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel and Power Point).
Skilled in the standards, concepts, practices, and procedures within the health, safety and environmental fields.
Key Responsibilities Provide advice and consultation to department staff to assist in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices.
Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
Undertake surveys to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety and environmental conditions.
Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.
Perform construction site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations.
Perform job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and prepare written reports and recommendations.
Develop controls for identified hazards.
Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analyses.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace incidents and injuries.
Prepare safety orientations, safety training, and job site inspection procedures.
Conduct specialized safety and environmental training programs to communicate hazard control information.
Participate in Safe Operations Committee meetings.
Review and analyze injury, property damage, and statistical loss data and work with management to prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards.
Incorporate essential safety requirements in all purchasing and contracting actions.
Recommend the purchase of safety equipment, related supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with established company requirements.

If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you. 2. 2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client.
If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location.
If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.
If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you. 3.
Conditional Offer: A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment. 4.
Relocation Process: After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Americas.
This advisor will be your go-to resource for your job transition, providing valuable advice on visa logistics, notice periods, medical requirements, and more.
