DESIGN COORDINATOR

The Company started in 2014 and is an ambitious and entrepreneurial organization that focuses on creating value for the group by designing, producing, storing and shipping prefabricated building elements for apartments and hotels for other Company entities in Europe.
As Design Coordinator you will be focusing on aligning and coordinating the design works between the factory and the other factory’s entities, based on the requirements and goals for each project, creating a clear scope for the local company running the factory on our behalf.
Hereby the design works for the prefabricated building elements (including i. e. structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical design) are performed both inhouse and by a number of external (international) consultants.
The job mainly consists of the following activities: · Collecting and managing all relevant project input needed for production design in the factory i. e. plot/building design details, project checklists including local requirements, etc. ; Acting as the point of contact between the factory, consultants and other internal entities. · Together with the company running the factory on our behalf, establishing the timeline for the design activities related to the project; hereby managing priorities and interferences between different projects; · Managing agreements with external consultants; obtaining the needed output, setting priorities, focusing on deadlines, etc. · Where possible, within the project or between projects, focusing on/pushing for standardization of the products to be designed and produced in the factory; · Getting approval on the factory designs and managing all output (i. e. drawings, certifications, test reports, etc. ) according to document management standards. · Reports to the Manager Factory Offer · 60-70k€ - discuss depending on experience · Benefits: 30 days leave, pension scheme, expense allowance ; · Standard package, like cell phone, laptop, etc. · Office: South Brescia discrict + regular visits to Company Amsterdam head office. . location: Corzano Bs We are looking for a pragmatic, enterprising professional who possesses the drive to manage and coordinate the design process in such a way we can run the factory as efficiently as possible.
To be eligible for this position you will need to have a good knowledge of construction/property-related design aspects and processes, preferably combined with a background in or a strong affinity for prefabricated production.
Preference will be given to a professional with a few years of experience in previous job(s).
