Main duties &responsabilities: All butler's duties (F B, HSK, Front) - Actively collaborate with other members of the responsible team on property Actively collaborate with all the staff on property to ensure the higher standards of the overall operations Oversee household staff Organize and supervise all the F B and HSK operations Organize and support all the pre-arrival activities Take care of welcome operations Take care of turndown operations Supervise and coordinate activities and special requests Take care of all the guests' direct correspondence and assistance Take care of In- Room Dining services Ascertain the general cleanliness and tidiness of all the FOH spaces Collaborate with the Front Desk team on checking all the charges on guests' account Ensure that all services are according to standards Give the guest complete and undivided attention Ensure the correct status of the rooms and suites at all times Actively coordinate the operational staff and supervise all the staff in the house when on duty Support the Assistant Butlers in ascertain the balance of the par stock levels is organized in every department Maintain household inventories Use of operating systems Availability for night shift Inspect all the guests' spaces before arrival and during the stay, inspect the rooms and the suites daily check guests' satisfaction, handle complaints and take appropriate actions Train the Assistant Butlers on improvement areas Make sure the staff at all levels receive feedback periodically on the operational performances Strategically plan the achievement of goals and departmental index Supervise the record of guests' preferences Requirements Previous professional experience in the same role of an extra luxury brand, preferably at international level Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; F B and Housekeeping knowledge.
Front basic knowledge, able to manage concierge activities; Proficiency with hotel management software; Ability to work flexibly under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage due to international clientele; Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail; Ability to train junior team members and encourage professional growth; Haccp certification; Working at Splendido, A Belmond Hotel requires dedication to uphold its reputation for exceptional service quality; thus, this role demands someone passionate about hospitality who thrives on creating unforgettable experiences for every guest they encounter.
