BUSINESS CONTROLLER – AREA SALES

Our client is a multinational company operating in the steel sector, that is looking for a resource to be included within its staff in the headquarter of Genoa with the role of: SALES BUSINESS CONTROLLINGPOSITION OVERVIEW Within Business Controlling Department, the Business Controlling Manager for Sales area will contribute to the analysis of commercial performance identifying and proposing actions to maximize sales efficiency.
The candidate will grant full support to the business in budgeting, reporting and controlling key efficiency metrics and provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic planning and decision making.
The position reports to the Head of Business Controlling and will be part of a strong, ambitious and proactive team, within an international environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES· Ensure control of the assigned business area through understanding and analyzing performance results; · Support pricing definition; · Regular and punctual reporting to the local and holding management; · Participate in the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes: definition of the road map; consolidation, analysis and presentation of the plan; forecast review; · Perform gap analysis between forecast and actual figures; · Support performance management process; · Partnering with sales units across Europe for performance understanding and development of efficiency initiatives; · Prepare business case and run simulations; · Lead/support functional project activities.
KEY REQUIREMENTS· Master degree in Economics/ Management Engineering/ Business Administration; · 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in structured and multinational companies; · Critical and analytical thinking: manage, interpret and analyse data; · Self-starting and pro-active approach; · Listening and communication skills; · Fluent in English.
Russian is a plus; · Knowledge of Power-BI, SQL and SAP; · Advanced level of Excel and Office package.
