Job function Service Position type Full time Site Via La Spezia 218, 43126 Parma PR Here in GEA Mechanical Equipment Italy, as head quarter of Business unit Homogenizer in the Division Separation and Flow Technologies of GEA, we are looking for a motivated candidate as part of the growing team of Service Business Development.
Service is gaining importance year after year, and the Service org is a continuous evolving organization that adapts itself to ensure best customer experience.
For maintaining leadership in the market and the very strong position to the competition, GEA Service is running its transformation to a relationship-based Service: Service Business Development office is the key for leading to a more sophisticated Service Portfolio, adding and developing especially Digi Services/products and all the new business models around that.
We are looking for open-minded and engaged people that want to guide this evolution with us, contributing to stimulate the environment with ideas and dedication.
Main work location is Parma, with necessity to travel globally following the role needs.
Your responsibilities and tasks: Fundamental Tasks Managing the Service Product Portfolio (especially focus on Digi Service) Ensuring continuous Up- Keeping of Service Products for the respective Business Unit Delivering Service Product specific Expertise support towards GEA organizations in the different countries (named: R&Cs) BU HOM Service Strategy Deployment towards R&C‘s Delivering transparent and effective Monitoring and Reporting towards superiors Service Product Portfolio Support Tasks Implementing & Ensuring that the Service Portfolio is continuously in line with customer demands and needs leading to effective growth for GEA Ensuring the Development & Deployment to the Market via R&C’s in line with the GEA Mission and Strategic Initiatives Aligning deployment targets and ambitions with SFT Regional Service Sales Support Management Leading the continuous development of digital service products and business models Interacts with other GEA Divisions, external parties where needed to support GEA Initiatives.
Service Product specific Tasks Managing Service products for the respective Business Unit Equipment Identifying the Service Product needs for the respective Equipment and Application Designing and initiating the Service Product Scope – Product Development Plan Involving all required parties to establish an effective Product Ideation and Business Plan Defining and Initiating Product Project Development Ensuring that the Service Product Scope is fully defined, designed, developed and deployable Preparation of business plans (information on market, competition, product, performance) Enable development of digital service products and business models accordingly Continuous Up-keeping of the respective Service Product throughout its Life Cycle Service Sales support specific Tasks Aligning of sales strategies for the entire Service Product Portfolio for different Equipment, Markets, Applications and Regions with all involved GEA Stakeholders Supporting Service Sales strategies and activities for existing and new equipment sales in close cooperation with Service Sales Teams in R&C’s Deploying and securing sustainable Service Product Sales support for R&C’s Supporting the continuous design and development of Sales Tools Utilization and understanding of Service Sales Tools towards R&C’s Communication Regular coordination with all relevant internal departments as well as the R&C's Regular coordination with all relevant Service Management levels within the BU and Division Support of R&C’s in relation to Service Product & Serviced Portfolio Topics Your profile and qualifications: Studies in the field of industrial engineering / mechanical engineering / computer science with appropriate knowledge or a comparable qualification Significant experience in Service Product Management and Service Sales Management (preferred) Experience in growth and change processes to transformations in traditional sales organizations to best in class sales management Advanced understanding in Service business development, customer relationship management, market development Digital competences and big data analysis knowledge In depth insight of the Homogenizer related Products and Markets – preferably other GEA Equipment (preferred) The ability to guide, motivate and manage individuals to go the one step further to fulfill the GEA Missions Compulsory languages: fluent English (written and spoken) Knowledge of SAP tool is appreciated #J-18808- Ljbffr
