Position Summary The Associate Admissions Director, Recruitment is a member of the admissions team who collaborates across all aspects of the enrollment management process providing support in the recruiting and enrollment of mission-aligned students.
As a member of the Admissions team, this person will help recruit families through personalized and targeted outreach, campus visits, and Admissions events.
They will work closely with current students and parents to develop strategic and creative outreach and events to highlight the unique aspects of our school.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities Guide prospective families through the admissions process from the time of inquiry to matriculation.
Represent the school to prospective students and families, educational consultants, and other constituencies who may directly or indirectly play a role in recruitment/admissions activities.
Oversee the planning and execution of key recruitment events for prospective and new students and families (virtual and in-person) including local high school fairs.
This will include some evenings and weekends, especially during the peak season between September through May.
Manage the prospective student shadow program.
Manage recruitment and training of Presentation student and parent ambassadors who act as extensions of the Admissions office.
Lead and manage on-campus tours for prospective families.
Facilitate the strategic use of personalized mailings, emails, phone calls, and texts from Presentation ambassadors.
Assist in developing and executing a strategic vision for recruitment and enrollment of qualified students.
Oversee the freshman onboarding experience from the time of acceptance until the start of school.
Contribute to the mission and standards of the school by recruiting and retaining students who will benefit from the school’s unique culture and program and contribute to the school community.
With the Director of Admission and the Communications team, develop and implement our admission, marketing and communication plan.
Collaborate with the Admissions team to manage the Admissions Database, Ravenna.
Assist in cultivating and maintaining relationships with feeder schools.
Support the Director of Admissions in developing and maintaining effective communications through hard-copy collateral, the website, newsletters, emails, and social media.
Serve as a member of the applicant review committee in reading, evaluating, and rendering recommendations for admission.
Other duties as assigned Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or sales, or commensurate experience At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in an external facing, people oriented role, in a school setting preferred Experience working with high school students Spanish proficiency is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Total resonance with the mission, vision, and values of Presentation High School and the Catholic education tradition including a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Commitment to advancing the current strategic plan, including operations, programs and budget.

Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
Demonstrate complete integrity and inspire trust in order to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within a diverse, multicultural environment and promote and contribute to an inclusive and respectful workplace.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and competently with a wide-ranging audience, including school leadership, Board members, students, faculty/staff, alumnae, parents, volunteers, media, and external stakeholders in a manner that best represents Presentation.
Confident public speaker in a variety of settings.
Aptitude for technology and data management systems (e. g.
Ravenna) including Google Suite and Excel.
Impeccable writing and editing skills.
A high level of initiative, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, event, and project management skills, flexible and adaptable.
A positive outlook and genuine desire to partner with families through the Admissions process.
High regard for confidentiality.

The Associate Admissions Director, Recruitment must be able to: Spend considerable time at a desk using a computer terminal.
Travel to other buildings on the campus.
Attend conference and training sessions within the Bay Area or in or out-of-state locations.
Travel to different schools and events across the Bay Area.
May be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
