(R) Production Readiness

Your responsibilities will focus on :

• Checking that contract capacity requirements can be reached by the equipment / tools / moulds proposed by Suppliers and to ensure that the physical equipment / tools / moulds match to the design and concepts developed by Suppliers;


• Ensuring readiness of Supplier production equipment / tools / moulds at start-up;


• Verifying the status of equipment / tools / moulds during projects development and in ramp up phase usually up to ST or ST* (in case of big problems and special needs also up to SOP + 3);


• Steering supplier and toolmakers in the realization of critical technical tool modifications once the modifications have been released; to monitor the ongoing status in order to be on time as for the company processes and needs. In case of critical issues, Production Readiness take care to inform the other involved departments ensuring a shared knowledge of situation;


• Initiating and monitoring special measures, in cooperation with competent departments, in case production equipment / tools / moulds show technical and technological lacks. In case this situation occurs, Production Readiness take care to inform the other involved departments ensuring a shared knowledge of situation;


• Finding solutions to solve problems on production for top critical items during the pre-series phase, in case they comes from damages or problems connected to the integrity of the equipment / tools / moulds. In case this situation occurs, Production Readiness take care to inform the other involved departments ensuring a shared knowledge of situation;


• Informing the production readiness responsible regarding equipment availability and to suggest plan revision where necessary.

Your Skills:


• University technical degree


• At least 3 years’ experience in related fields


• Fluent English and Italian, German will be considered a plus


• Tool-makers and production techniques/processes knowledge


• Tools concepts knowledge


• OEE Overall Equipment Effectiveness and related calculation


• Intra-company processes knowledge


• MS- Project, Excel, Moldflow and simulation software and techniques


• Relational skills


• Self confidence and good standing
