About the job Are you eager to take a new opportunity? Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career? We are looking for a Logistic Engineer to join our Headquarter at Sant’ Agata Bolognese (BO).
You will hierarchically report to the Head of Logistic Engineering and Operations and functionally to the coordinator of Logistic Engineering.
You will be responsible to follow product evolution to establish the correct logistic concept to be set up with suppliers and/or with LSP and AL, promptly quantifying related emerging/discontinuing logistic costs.
Your main activities will be: Participation in the Simultaneous Engineering Teams (SET) and industrial sub-projects Follow sourcing process with the purchasing department providing concepts and data within the established time frame: monitoring supplier appointments Drafting/updating documents (specifications, presentations, etc. ) to be used in the nomination phase or post-nomination bidders Planning logistics concepts and flow of purchasing materials (from supplier to Point of Use) JIS meeting organization Economic evaluations linked to single evaluations, product milestones, Evaluation of related logistic costs ( Product investments, NSP and structure, start-up cost, fixed costs or direct costs), based on product content and safety standards evaluate/plan warehouse layout and internal processes, impacts in terms of space, flows, traffic in WH, Handling area and Supermarket Tracking of product content and assessment of impacts on the supply chain and internal processes Planning and Tracking of logistic costs linked to the product (special containers): define capacity, milestones, timing.
Evaluation and planning of product investments (special containers) and warehouse equipment, Handling area, and supermarket Definition of packaging of materials Implementation of physical and SAP logistic flows, monitoring and updating according to incoming/outgoing codes linked to the process of changes and new contents and in the event of takt changes Procurement logistic equipment: definition of specifications, technical checks, RDA entry for special and non-special containers, services, flow racks Monitoring and updating of data and personal data in Volkswagen Group Systems and SAP Propose and evaluate solutions and improvement interventions on flows and layouts of logistic areas About you University Degree in Mechanical/ Management/ Industrial Engineering At least 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in high volume manufacturing/automotive warehouse environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience in working together with a Logistic service provider and external suppliers Excellent analytical skills Experience in safety regulations Fluent English, Italian and German will be considered a plus Relational skills Problem solving Strong personality and ability for implementing actions/activities Team working attitude and Customer orientation What we offer Holistic Well- Being program Parenthood program Specific job posting for internal employees Access to qualified Learning paths If you are interested in taking a new professional opportunity, please submit your application by December 8th.
